Looking for Turn-Based Ideas for 80 y/o Father-in-law

Chatting with my father-in-law today, he (80 years old) was looking to get into a new turn-based game. He enjoys games like Zork, Civ series, and prefers games that allow you to take your time when making your decision. I'm not sure how much of an RPG turn based experience he would enjoy, but I'd like to get a small list of some titles that might spark his interest.
