If I were the protagonist of a cozy life sim, I'd get pretty frustrated

Talking games like SDV, Coral Island, etc.

Imagine moving some place new to start over and get away from your old life only to find out the place you moved to is suffering a downturn... except everyone who lived there before you couldn't be bothered to do anything about it and instead saving the town comes to rest on your shoulders because your neighbors are lazy/apathetic.

Hardly the nice life you would have pictured for yourself.
